some thoughts....

Recently we received an email message of a dear friend from Hungary being in the Netherlands and having free time to spend together last Saturday in the south of our country. That takes too much travel time (more than 10 hours by public transport) to come north, so we decided to go south ourselves. We met at the lounge of a hotel in Maastricht and went into the old city, had coffee, walked, had lunch and talked for hours. We arrived for this meeting, the evening before at the Belgium boarder and left for home late the next afternoon. Energized by new ideas and the healing exchange of recent and long ago experiences.
These sharing evolved within what I call a CCI format of respect, free attention and creativity. Leading part of our exchange is 'the big silence', the timeslot that at least I experience in my CCI world. It looks like the big silence before the birth of a renewed approach. So in fact part of a rather normal process! Still the 'silence' is evident. It looks like as if the process so far seems to continue to bite in its own tail, while participants repeat longtime habits! Certainly there will be a need for that habit, and it will continue until we are fed up with it and energized by something – or someone – else.

So in my view it is evident, that the need is, to explore other, energizing ways of presenting what we gained from the CCI process so far. What I gained anyway is, raising awareness about things I was not aware off before, using the CCI format. Core of that format is for me, my own responsibility for the way I handle what happens to me in my lifetime. These experiences are the same time fundamental ingredients for my life experiences over all: the one I am now. They deserve respect, though acknowledging, that I did the best I could, according to what I knew at that time. So intentional I did well. And I do not only to respect how I handled these experiences. I need in the same way to respect others as well.

At the same time, acknowledging what the reality offers me now, is the engine for change. Overlooking the total process of evolution – as far as I am capable and accepting happily sharing of other ones experiences (within the CCI format) - it seems to me to be that the – or a – follow up of the original CCI co-counselling method tends into the direction of interpersonal spiritual awareness's. And the challenge of this moment is how we bring this into practice.

Thoughts, how to do that, are utmost welcome for a public exchange of views. CCI World News Service welcomes your contributions. So do not hesitate! It will be appreciated when you explain your approach, based on your own experiences! According to your wish only your first name will be published.
