second therapy drama on Dutch TV

For the second time a Dutch television programme will be launched about the theme emotional 'therapy'. The first was a copy of a Spanish version of 'the red' box (chamber) about therapy by showing, pictures of the 'hot' items on the walls of the 'therapy-room'.

Like painful emotional situations or certain portraits etc. This series where copied by the Dutch Roman Catholic Society of radio and TV (KRO) in January this year. Its counterpart of the Protestant Christian Society (NCRV) starts, to begin on Monday evening July 26th at a quarter to eleven in the evening, a range of psychotherapies sessions on TV. From Monday to Saturday, so 5 evenings a week (at the same time) and for the coming six weeks, one of the clients of the psychotherapist is in action with the therapist. All the clients - and the therapist, are well know Dutch actors. So Lara (on Monday) has relational problems, Aron (Tuesday) was pilot in action in Afghanistan, Michel and Aya (Wednesday) need help for their relationship, Sophie (Thursday), is a teen-ager coping with her phenomenon of life. Psychotherapist is Paul who is 'the silent' listener. He is married with Karen and both are in a relation therapy (Friday). Advisor of the actors was Stephen Shriber (psychiatrist in Amsterdam), a now pensioned cognitive behaviourist and big fan of the American 'In Treatment', writes the Cultural Supplement of NRC Handelsblad (July 16th 2010).
The second Dutch, now by actors played, psycho therapy drama-TV, also based on the series of 'BeTipul' in Israel, definitely are not the reality. In spite of the quality of the actors! Nevertheless it possibly can positively influence the environment around working on own emotional stuff, like we do within CCI,  without any authoritarian influence and with full self-responsibility. So both are definitely not the same! When the series has ended, we will report about this phenomena, its impact, the results and commends about it.
