Do you have memories on Tom Sargent, one of the three founders of CCI, please write them down for Bob Schoenberg, who called him, in a recent email to me, 'such a great man and a great teacher'. In an earlier mail Bob informed me that he was going to write a book about Tom Sargent. He is seeking contributions from people who knew Tom, to write them down and email 'the blurb' to him (click here) - or to CCIWNS. Tom passed away on October 20th 2007 in Virginia City, Montana, USA, 81 years old, where he lived his final years. Bob Schoenberg is, what he calls 'a long time co-counselor', he completed his basic training in Hartford during the mid 1970's. I am pleased that Bob asked me to publish this invitation to write your memories about Tom. I met Tom once, in April 1999 at the celebration of 25 years CCI in Hartford, organized by Dency Sargent and Carol Driscoll.
He left early, so I decided to ran to the doorway and shook hands with him. He was, as I read later, famous also for his guided meditations. And he trained and taught a lot of people all over the world, writes Bob who teaches critical thinking' at the University of Boston, Massachusetts, USA. CCI World News Service is pleased with the initiative of Bob.           niek (03-07)
