One of the guidelines of CCI is the statement that 'within the CCI worldwide federation there is no central control of anything' according with a recent wording of John Heron.

In the same wording of October 7th  2009, he states: 'The CCI belief system affirms that the guiding authority for the work of personal development manifests in a uniquely creative way within each worker, an idiosyncratic personal authority which is refined in the crucible of validation and facilitation by co-workers.' Personally I do agree perfectly with the content of these statements. Any way in my understanding of these words. One of the meanings of 'the idiosyncratic' person I am, or want to be, is for me to respect other one's meaning(s). While taking on board that my vision may differ from theirs. And so is my wording a personal process, linked with my very personal history. That is a right of every human being. Or do I need to say, living creature? Accepting grateful that there are phenomena that I can not explain.
Nevertheless, I observe - as if I am an outsider in this respect - within myself three items of major importance to my being. All three are loaded heavily with emotional stuff. The first is birth, the second is love and the third is death. And I think that all three are utterly important to everybody. My question is, how these are related to me and to others, to me and mine and their personal history and my acknowledgement, that there is no hierarchy. Also not within in and or between those three different items.

birth, love and death

These three items are anyway for me of major importance. I call them existential. We all have to cope with live, wherever we are born. We just have to accept how it is. We have no say in it - as it looks like - where on earth we will be born. And still that can make huge differences. In so many ways. From education to constantly struggling to get food and shelter to keep alive, every day again and everything in between those two. Anyway I feel blessed and lucky to be born in a society with possibilities to spend time and attention to books, to music, to art, to work and altogether for living my life.
That is also to be loved and to make love. Love and birth are - also in my view - connected. To see your first baby born makes so obvious, any way in my history, that the phenomenon of life continues. It made me shy, impressed and happy and aware of this continuous process. So it did, years later, when my first grandchild was born. For sure there is no hierarchy in between of them all. All the children and all the grandchildren, are all 'equal' and different personalities to be respected in the way they are.
They are idiosyncratic personal authorities and deserve my respect in the way they live and create their lives. So love for me has also another annotation. Namely to be strongly connected with the art of respect. Respect for all things that we each as human being, as well as all together, have in common and in everyway. In these respects we may differ, in having different views for what we need.
Finally there is something we all have to face once. That is the fact that we shall die, alone. This is already imbedded by the fact that we are born. And the only thing we do not know is, how and when. Being young it looks like as if that still is far away, somewhere in the future. I avoid to pay attention to it. Nevertheless it is still there in the background! All the time. Like a process in itself. The question is, how to accept the reality of these three processes: birth, love and death. I can simply not continue in neglecting them and do not want to neither. So along these three basic existential items I try to grow in emotional competence. CCI is so far more than a perfect model for me to support me on that way of transformation. That is why CCI World News wants to continue, contribute and support this process of personal transformation!
