CCI Netherlands

On Sunday you can park your car at the Java Island (Amsterdam city, the Netherlands) for free. That 's why the yearly general meeting of the Dutch CCI community was held last Sunday. This Dutch community is organised as a formal association by law since 1986. And they have a chosen 'board' and the decision making is done by majority – if voting is necessary. The interim president, Maarten den Draak, resigned and two new members of the board were nominated: Marianne van Duyvenbode en Jaques Lelieveld.

The attendance for this general meeting was bigger than usual the last years: some 15% of the total registered number of members (nearly 100). One of them will be invited to create an organisers group for the CCI Europe 2012 meeting in the Netherlands. The offer of Joke Stassen, to facelift the CCI Netherlands CCN website, was agreed and these activities will start next winter. CCN public relations activities were on the agenda as well and they talked also about celebrating the 25th anniversary of this CCI organisation in 2011.
