Alan Trangmar

CCI trainer: alanAlan Trangmar is a co-counsellor since 1984 and a teacher since 1990 of the Herts Beds Bucks & Chilterns community. He teaches because 'I find co-counselling is valuable to me, and I want to share it with others; this is partly because I like to help other people by giving them something useful, partly so I have people who live with me that I can co-counsel with, and partly because a fundamentals is in itself a wonderful experience. I value the links I make and the marvellous people I meet through co-counselling. @

I have been actively involved in organisation within CCI and in discussions on the theory and practice of co-counselling. I have been teaching co-counselling regularly since 1993. As well as co-counselling I also train people in counselling skills and facilitation skills. I have run courses in Hungary and Sri Lanka as well as the UK. The training is based mainly on the work of John Heron. I have run a two year diploma course in facilitation based on John Heron's book 'The Complete Facilitator's Handbook', for which co-counselling was a requirement. @

Tonya Stewart

CCI trainer:

Tonya Stewart, England:'CCI co-counselling has been one of the few constants in my life over the past 20 years,' says Guildford, Surrey-based co-counselling trainer Tonya Stewart, 'though it spends some of its time on the back burner for me.' And that speaks volumes. 'The co-counsellor's toolkit is equipped with gadgets and gizmos that can help excavate, clear, rebalance and revitalise the human psyche – and that remains relevant, however young or old you are and whatever decade you are living in! CCI co-counselling, as a discipline, is also refreshingly dogma-free. And the beauty of it is that it's the client - not the counsellor - who is in charge and who has all the resources to bring about his or her own self-healing.' Tonya was accredited as a trainer of co-counselling in 1991. She teaches in London and Surrey, England. @
