CCN meeting at Havelte

on 01 April 2013.

bulbs 1 JPGThe Dutch CCI community recently met in the woods of Havelte, in the north of the Netherlands, for a national weekend. Organized by Rob van den Brink, Gertje Segond, Dori Steeneken and Liesbeth Bianchi, with the theme of 'changing', from Friday (March 22) til Sunday late afternoon. About 26 participants attended. Each of them got some soon flowering bulbs in pots to take home to get an idea that spring soon is coming! (but it still was bitterly cold outside!)

invitation from CCI Israel

on 26 March 2013.

open letter from Janice

Dear CCI family,

I am writing this note as a special invitation to you all from a very warm and welcoming place in my heart. Since Avi and I first discovered your wonderful international community back in 2005, we imagined one day we could invite you all to our country to meet our community. We know there's so much work to be done here, and we need your support and interest to make more progress. I have heard over the years the responses from people when I asked if you would come to Israel: the hesitation, the concerns, the curiosity, the longtime dreams. The opportunity is now here: October 17-21, 2013. I recall the statement: I would never otherwise wish to come to Israel, but knowing there are co-counselors, I would come to support this work. I also add these letters from CCI members who attended the first Dror InternationalWorkshop back in 2009. We've chosen the same lovely venue which has undergone some upgrades in the last 4 years. October is a great time of year to visit, and we are happy to arrange day trips to the areas of your choice either before or after the workshop. Israelis are known to be very hospitable, and several co-counselors would be happy to have guests in their homes.

Please write to me with any questions you may have. Hava and I will do our best to assist you in any way we can. The formal invitation will be posted on our web site in the following days.

Love and Hugs,
Janice

a simple CCI introduction (2)

Written by Niek on 15 February 2013.

flowerThe follow up of 'a simple introduction (1) of last Sunday describes the content of an 'emotional network' website. This setup, as any other messages on the site itself, have to be short and simple. So that an interested outsider is able to understand the content of the message, no technical terms are used. The content is divided into two parts: a) the public part at the home page and b) the private part, only for those who subscribed to participate in the online practical offer, in order for them to get more insights about handling their emotions in a successful way, in a non authoritarian setting.
