editorial policy
The editorial policy is based on a culture of accepting respectfully your way of communicating your observations. Own your statements. It is your way of seeing your part of the reality, sharing in stories/ reports/ visions/ drawings/ photo's/ sounds/ postures. As I do mine. Both deserve to be honoured.
Hopefully we look in the same direction and at the same subject. Even so, we may differ in appreciation or vision. In sharing each others creation, taking them on board and digesting them, we may deepen our insights in a way that suits our individuality best.
To celebrate the abundance in variety add to your contribution: your name, email address/ country, year of your CCI fundamental training and name of facilitator, or share as part of your story what attracts you especially to CCI. To honour your privacy, your first name only will be published.                                                     

Niek Sickenga, a Dutch co-counsellor, is the initiator of this news service since April 2000. He practices CCI co-counselling since 1982. In 1995 he became a CCI trainer in  the Netherlands. He is one of the founders of 'werkverband CCI Nederland' a trainers cooperative. With his partner he lives in Donkerbroek, Friesland.

about what
Starting 1974 the abbreviation CCI has been used as the brand name for Co-Counselling International, a self help growth method practised in pairs. The method is based on self responsibility, equality, self directing and support. It is easy accessible, healthy and exciting in a contracting world with an overload of stress. CCI invites us to explore our basic human qualities and potential on our own intuition, whatever our belief systems are.

from whom
This non profit information service is offered by personal interests within CCI. This service is directly derived from experiences with CCI Newsletters at CCI international meetings in 1994, 1998 (both in the Netherlands) and 2000 in New Zealand.
It also is based on the life long experience of its initiator as a Dutch agricultural journalist and as co-ordinator of the first electronic marketing information service in the agricultural field in the Netherlands. The initiator to day (2000) is an active CCI trainer,  inspired by the idea that this electronic service is nothing more but an expression of the world wide, unstructured, CCI community!

confidentiality
The art of paying proper attention to our emotions is a personal and touchable process. Often the feeling is, that the current atmosphere does not exactly contribute to that process. And so, most likely, the answer is to postpone that process to a more suitable situation. And doing so, the inner circle keeps protected from being hurt we think.
In the meantime our attention is attracted to other items. We easily forget the emotions. They are well stored for the time being in the freezer. Frozen emotions, not being discharged by lack of room to do so - in the perception of the person in charge - trans-

form into patterns of behaviour to protect  the inner circle. Those patterns result in conditional behaviour in the future. Behaviour that is not any more related to the reality of that moment.
The art of CCI is, to defrost the frozen emotions by re-experiencing, if necessary followed by discharge in a non competitive environment. That process causes freedom by evaporating of the patterns and re-evaluation of behaviour for the future. That process enables the coming into our being of our personal human potential. That is why in CCI confidentiality deserves a major role.                                          ns
